3D console on its way, no glasses required
Nintendo is planning to launch a 3D version of its popular DS which won't require glasses.
Likely to be called the Nintendo 3DS, the handheld console will be unveiled at the E3 video game trade show in LA in June. The current DS has sold over 125m units worldwide. Sony is planning to release 3D titles for its PS3 console in time for the planned release of its 3D TVs in June. The PS3 will be able to become 3D-capable via a software update.
