MediaCom Scotland 10th Anniversary

MediaCom Scotland Ltd, the country’s largest planning and buying media agency, celebrated its 10th anniversary in style last week with a party in the regal surrounds of Edinburgh Castle.

Around 180 guests from across the UK including clients, media owners and agency partners, attended the event. Scottish Managing Director Euan Jarvie was presented with a framed montage of pictures and press clippings achieved since the business opened its Scottish arm in 1997. A charity raffle on the night also raised nearly £1000 for the St Columba's Hospice.

Based in Leith, MediaCom Scotland bills around £55m a year and works with the largest private and public organisations in the country. Existing clients include RBS, Standard Life, VisitScotland, Scottish Executive and Trader Media Group.

Commenting on the night, Euan said, “It was a great way to celebrate our tenth anniversary in Scotland and reflect on our achievements.”

Headed by Euan Jarvie (39), MediaCom has risen to be the largest media agency in Scotland in 10 years and is consistently featured in the Sunday Times’ ‘best companies to work for’. The firm was also named Scottish Power Business of the Year in both 2005 and 2006.

They recently established a recruitment media division offers brand led tactical recruitment planning and buying solutions, helping its clients recruit the best talent possible.
