MediaCom Edinburgh has been retained as the Scottish Government’s media planning and buying agent, winning a new contract. The Edinburgh-based agency, which has managed the account since 2004, was short-listed in June for a competitive pitch involving five other agencies.
Along with Scottish Government activity, the account also encompasses projects from government agencies including Visit Scotland, NHS Scotland, NHS 24, Quality Meat Scotland, Historic Scotland, the Scottish Parliament and the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service.
Euan Jarvie, Managing Director of MediaCom Edinburgh, said, “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with The Scottish Government and further contributing to what have been innovative and high impact campaigns. It is a testament to the quality of our people and the strategic approach we implement for clients. This is great news for the whole MediaCom Edinburgh team to celebrate another landmark occasion on the back of our recent 10th anniversary.”
Based in Leith, MediaCom Edinburgh is Scotland’s largest media agency and works with the largest private and public organisations in the country.
Headed by Euan Jarvie (40), MediaCom has risen to be the largest media agency in Scotland in 10 years and is consistently featured in the Sunday Times’ ‘best companies to work for’. The firm was also named Scottish Power Business of the Year in both 2005 and 2006.
The company has recently established a recruitment media division which offers brand led tactical recruitment planning and buying solutions, helping its clients recruit the best talent possible.
